“Almond Blossom was great when we needed help for our aunt! Cory and Vicky were wonderful people to work with. We worked mainly with Vicky as our aunt was at the Blackmuir Court home. Vicky has been the administrator for 10 years. It’s really a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. They worked with us to care for our aunt for 5 months and did a good job. However, It became obvious to us that our aunt was getting ready to leave this earth, so in the end we took her our home. Almond Blossom pointed us to Butte Hospice, who have many unbelievably great people who helped us, help our aunt transition out of her hard painful circumstance. We are so grateful to Almond Blossom and all they meant to us and we still visit them regularly.
As for our deposit, because we were there for 5 months they waived the 30 day notice clause in our contract. They didn’t have too, but they did. Being self-employed myself I understand that there are many many set-up costs. The first month is probably a break even financial reality for them. Our experience was that they were financially very fair.
We found them to always be attentive to our concerns, compassionate to our aunt, and pretty well organized in a field that has high employee turnover.
